Aloha,

First please make sure to install the latest Driver. The link is listed below:

http://resources.iaak.net/downloads/software/ActivDriver_x86_Window...

Before installing this driver, please unplug any USB cables from the computer and unplug the ActivHub if applicable. Continue with the installation from there.

Once completed see if the ActivBoard works when connected to the computer. Please verify that the USB cable is connected from the board to your computer.

If the ActivBoard still is not recognized continue to the steps listed below:

Unplug all USB cables from your computer

Right click the My Computer icon on your Desktop. On Windows Vista and 7 this will just be called Computer.

Left click Manage

Left click on Device Manager

In the main pane left click the + icon next to Universal Serial Bus (last entry on that list)

Look for any entries that say USB Root Hub or USB composite device.

Right click any entry that says USB Root Hub or USB composite device and left click Uninstall

Once all have been removed, restart your computer.

Once your computer restarts it will take up to 5 minutes while Windows installs the new software.

Once completed Windows will give you a message that your software has been installed.

Restart your computer and try to connect your ActivBoard. Everything should now work fine.

Please provide us an update after you try this.

thanks,
