Aloha,

If you do not have any sound coming from your Promethean board, first you need to check to see if your pens are working on the board.

If your pens are working but there is no sound, please follow the steps below:

On the left side of your Promethean board is a sound control panel, please look at the standby button.

This standby button should be green in color which signifies the speakers are turned on. If the standby button is the color red press it down to turn it on to green.

Please verify that your volume is turned up on the sound panel located at the left side of the board.

If you still do not have sound we will need to check your computer settings.

For MAC:

Click the Apple Icon at the top left of the screen, click System Preferences, then select Sound.

Select the Output tab and make sure the Promethean option is selected. This should resolve all of your sound issues. If you still have no sound please make sure the audio is not muted at the top right of your menu bar on your screen. If any problems occur please contact us so we can resolve your issues in a timely manner.

For Windows:

If your pens are working, the previous steps were completed and you still have no sound please make sure your audio is not muted in the bottom right of the task tray.  If there is still no sound please contact us immediately so that we can resolve your issues in a timely manner.
